Sorry guys I am surrounded by Oxford United fans who redefine what it is to be at a loose end - likewise imagine Derby fans are gutted and shell shocked!
I do feel a bit sorry for Derby fans, unlucky last season and just missing out on the play offs this season when they all expected to be in it must be frustrating. Although I dislike the play offs at least I still have something to look forward to this weekend. (excitement can be turned into disappointment, but lets hope not).
Fook em because you can rest assured that they wouldn't give a rats arse if the tables were reversed!
OUCH!!!!! I do feel sorry for Derby fans and I can sympathise with those who were leaving early on Saturday, as only a few months ago, they were top of the Championship and everything was looking good for them. In their last 16 games, they only amassed 19 points!!!!
Considering the amount of abuse we get from practically every other club, six fingers, inbred, yadda, yadda, yadda I don't feel sorry for any of 'em. Survival of the fittest
The only one I feel sorry for is Mark Warburton at Brentford. having masterminded a cracking season for them, he now waits to pick up his P45 - even if he manages to steer them to the promised land?
He'll get another job easily Cromer and it will probably be at a bigger and better club than Brentford (no disrespect intended). You never know, he might even pitch up at the Portaloo next season after McCarthy's failed promotion attempt this year. Hang on, I said 'bigger and better'
No way. You get what you get. I would much rather be relaxing in the knowledge that we are a confirmed EPL team for next season. Now we have to go through the nervous experience of the playoffs, with the excruciating possibility that we may lose to the enemy. OTBC.
Strange thread this if I may say but having asked the question I suppose my vote would go to Derby for the reasons stated above and Tranmere who have just been relegated from the Football League. But as has alao been said above who would give a f*ck about us?
Strange thread eh? I'm just observing what life is like if you do not live in playoff town. Likewise noticing our contrasting fortunes and also the different rhythms that football gives each of us. Our interest and anxiety continues whilst theirs is wistfully but thankfully over!
Would love to have promotion in the bag and I'd be happy seeing other people fighting it out for the third spot. Honestly I would be keen to see Ipswich get through the playoffs if we were already up if only for the six points in the bag in 15/16. Now it doesn't bear thinking about given that I work in the borderland. Still it won't come to anything as we will quad them.
