We have three winnable home games left, Reading, Villa and WBA and one away game at Stoke where we should be looking to get at least a point based on today's display. IMO we only need 4 more points to survive, do you feel lucky ? Yes or No ?

    Me ? YES <ok>

Apparently we make our own luck...And after today I think that's what we'll do. So YES; I'm more confident now than before the game.

    Yep.

3points v Reading, 1 each against the Potters, Villa and Albion and a five goal humping at the hands of Citeh.

41 points for us I reckon.

Well we need to win at least one of them! The trouble if we don't is that three of those are teams in and around us which only makes our plight worse. Massive game against Reading next week. I just hope Manure and the Geordies can do us huge favours tomorrow otherwise Stoke especially will be carrying momentum into the game against us.

I honestly don't know, I want to believe we'll be ok but we just don't know what will happen in the game of football. The officials seem determined to relegate us.

I don't think there is much evidence to back up the confidence. We have to treat the next 4 games like wars. Despite the knobheads who say we are dirty, I think we have big compete ****s for 4 games. Badger the officials as far as we can. Risk sendings off, sledge the opposition and try and recoup some of the luck that has deserted us.
    Yes.

The Sunderland result was no surprise, neither was the Stoke result. Wigan have a really tough game Wednesday at Man Citeh followed by a trip to Wet Sham on Saturday. 24hrs later and yes, I still feel lucky.

We will beat Reading on Saturday, will beat Stoke the following week and be 'safe' with 3 games to go - SIMPLES ! ;)

Draw against Reading, win against Stoke, defeat against Villa and a draw against Albion, maybe a draw at Man City if they can't be bothered.

Stoke to get the final spot.

If we are two points clear of either Wigan or Villa and one point clear of the other come the last day, we are safe, regardless.

Two weeks ago I thought we would surely be relegated and I won't bore everyone on here again with my reasons as to why. We've just lost 3-1 at Arsehole yet the performance and commitment of the players has convinced me that we're too good to go down. Sunderland's result I have no doubt was due to the 'derby factor' and Stoke well Stoke are pants, Wigan's luck surely must run out with the fixtures they have coming up too.

Agree with this 100%. the scorelines of the last two games don't show the whole picture. We have confidence and drive.

We will beat Reading and Stoke will be a big game, they look very deadbeat.

I've said elsewhere, but I think it's okay to repeat it; Sunderland finding some form for the rest of the run in is not a bad thing for us. They have both Stoke and Villa to play, they play one while we play the other and vice versa. They don't play us. Although, as I've also said before it's up to us to get the points we need, them beating both of our other close rivals won't do us any harm. And Newcastle are only one place above us with their goal difference taking a battering.
