In a week where our PM has committed another few billion to the worlds poor & more adverts appear on tele asking for just a fiver a month to feed a village, I ask; Do you donate money to charity? Should we all do more for the underprivileged or are they getting too much?
no, I have never regularly donating money......life's hard enough as it is without having to worry about people I don't know

No, you don't know were the **** the monies going and it makes **** worse. People in Africa can't grow their own crops and sell it because stupid ****s like David Cameron are giving them ****loads of free food so local people can't set up businesses. Then when they have loads of kids that their environment can't support and we stop giving aid they all starve so we have to give more ****ing aid and it get's worse. Let them sort them selves out with a small amount of help. It's their own fault for having so many kids when they don't have the food and clean water to support them.
I generally donate half my wages to charity, my choice though. Does that make me a better person than most? Perhaps. But it doesnt mean I try and force charity on others

I give money. Maybe about £50 quids worth of various monthly direct debits which I only sign up for on the high street cos some young, hot and dirty looking student bird asks me too. I usually give £100 to any major tragedies like Haiti etc (although I never gave a bean to the Pakistani flood victims on account of my own personal prejudices). I also chip with the various charities for Scousers. I know they ask for a lot, but how can you not feel for those lovable victims?

Giving financial aid to African countries is as pointless as pissing against the wind and twice as dangerous. These are the most corrupt countries on the planet and the money goes straight in the pockets of government officials. I cannot believe the western world have not worked that out yet.

Where to people think financial aid goes? Governments and charities have been donating to third world countries for decades now and things are no better.
