I have read on this forum, and also on others, that it is not in Celtic's best interest if Rangers go bust, and no longer exist. It has been argued that without them we would have no competition, and our stadium would become half empty. It has also been suggested that TV money would diminish, and overall it would be bad for Scottish football if Rangers did not survive. Well I for one would be absolutely over the feckin moon if that club was to no longer exist. I would be celebrating for a long time, and laughing my head off at my Rangers mates. It would be absolutely feckin delicious to see those tax avoiding barstools dissappear for ever. I have no doubt that other SPL clubs, at least one anyway, would step up to the mark in terms of competition. The Gers can go and drown in a cesspool of tax avoiding **** and I will gladly watch their painful death. I am a celtic supporter who pays his taxes.
I don't want them to go to the wall. I want them to be hammered and suffer years of mid-table mediocrity which is what they deserve for buying all those titles with money they couldn't afford. Even last summer they were at it spending over £5m on Jelavic and Beattie. What would be great is, if Rangers were to go or to severely downsize, that common sense prevailed and the likes of Hibs/Hearts and Dundee/Dundee Utd merged and became considerably stronger teams with bigger fan bases. However, it seems to me that fans of those clubs would rather suffer years of winning nothing and remain small clubs rather than be up there challenging season after season. So, for me, Rangers to survive but suffer years of absolute misery
Imagine they were gone All their fans would ebb back to the provincial clubs Celtic could then get free access to EPL because, as we all know, its their fans no one wants in England
Rangers will never go bust never, never, never It just wont happen. They might struggle for a few years - but no worse than they have been struglling for the last few years
For the sake of the very many fine decent citizens of Scotland and the North of Ireland, I hope Rangers disappear off the face of the earth bringing their Ulster Cousins Linfield with them. In the 6 counties we have shred our selves of the Unionist Government in Stormount and I believe the last bastions of Bigotry and Sectarianism would be struct a fatal blow with the demise of these two horrible clubs. The ruling Society in Scotland panders to Rangers every need. It was explained recently that the reason the new anti -sectarian laws had to be introduced was to ensure more Celtic supporters could be charged. The Scottish Government acknowledges that the hate filled Rangers songs are Sectarian whilst songs sung at Celtic Park are Political and although the words or the sentiments of the Celtic songs will remain the same, they will become sectarian. Only in Scotland or the wee six, could such non sense be attempted.
My son is seven and he has a better grasp of the English language than you so I asked him to point out the mistakes in your prose. Above is his response. You're welcome. Must try harder wee man.
Its strange how we have to put up with their pidgin English or UlsterScot or whatever they call it. However they criticize our use of that God-damned language, when they cannot debate the substance of the debate. I feel sorry for the small minority of Rangers fans who may be decent, God fearing, tax paying citizens who are blind to the terrible bigotry that exists within the club itself as well as their hordes of obnoxious supporters. ( Mr T. have you had a DNA test on that seven year old boy, you refer to as son.)
I don't really care one way or another, Rangers will not disappear no matter how much debt they have, they will always exist in one form or another in even the worst case scenario. I would not however be too unhappy to see them suffer with a vastly restricted budget with as small an amount (in comparison to us) on transfers and wages as we suffered in the late 80s and well into the 90s. That would maybe raise a smile.
I hope they disappear off the face of the earth They'll not though. They'll be around in some form or other.
It wont happen. Funny as **** if it did though. I might even consider buying a flat in the newly developed ibrox , always fancied a marble staircase.
I would love Rangers to go bust and then have to re-form like AFC Wimbledon. The arrogance of plenty of Rangers fans during the big-spending years was massive, so I love to see them suffer. Rangers wouldn't take long to get back to the SPL if this happened, but those few years and the piss taking would be very, very enjoyable. Schadenfreude? You better believe it
Mr. T. seems to be almost speechless with rage. The seven year that reads for him hasn't learned to type messages. So that is the two of them ....ed. Just like Rangers.
