do we try to go up or stay where we are?

well,with plymouth argyle relegated too league two yesterday,it poses a big question for us,with piddly gates,are we better off staying where we are with local derbies against argyle,bristol rovers,swindon,cheltenham and other southern teams,or risking our arm in league one? a dilemna that there arent too many quick answers too.We are moving forwrd,but maybe too quickly
 
Go up if you can - who knows you could be in the Championship in another year
 
we have the nucleus of a really good team,keeping it together is the problem,with the present financial climate,a sniff of a few bob and we may well sell,anything is possible,but as a club,we are definitely on the up at present,apart from our attendances,but given time in a higher league they would improve
 
Unfortunately your location limits the away supporters, whatever league your in, so where will the extra home support come from is my question.
I agree a slow build is all teams like ours can hope for, if you do get promotion can you be as disciplined as Dagenham with your finances knowing that you'll almost certainly come back down next season.
The question I often ask myself is, would I enjoy a season in a higher league if the percentage of wins is much lower.
What does anyone else think.

I obviously wouldn't enjoy a relegation! Staying up would suit me(and any Shrew for that matter) in League One, a few points off the 'big guns'- Charlton, Sheffield clubs, PNE etc- as a bonus. Sadly that's a distant dream :embarrassed:
