    larson, gibson and gardener?

i would like all 3 but with catts, meyler and colback all playing in the same position...if we get all 3, i think n'zogbia is very unlikely.

i'd love to see our midfield/attack line up be:

    ------------catts------------
    ------larson------gibson------
    sess------------------------n'zog
    ------------gyan------------

i can't see where gardener would fit in...

add to that a bench of elmo, malbranque, colback, meyler, richardson, n'gog, dong-won, plus another relatively proven striker....

why all 3? why? no defence in that line up as i just don't have a clue how that'll line up next year, i can't even think of any defenders i'd like let alone realistic targets...

the only thing I'd say is we need quality backup, (for when the inevitable injuries/suspensions start to kick in) and with the players linked, they would certainly give us more options than we had last season.

I like the idea of Gardener, but recon he will go elsewhere,

We need Larsson, he is a direct replacement for Jordan at right midfield, and offers set piece ability on a free transfer. The sooner he signs up, the sooner I can breathe a little easier.

Gardner is also someone Id like to see, replacing Bolo as one of our best attacking threats from central midfield. Unfortunately, like BOE I agree, there is major interest from other parties, Newcastle for example, who could pip us.

Gibson I would like to see as a backup player for a relatively cheap price, but I fear his ego may dictate that he wants a guaranteed place in the starting line up. Theres also still unanswered questions as to his allround game, that has infuriated Man Utd fans.
