Interested in what people's thoughts are on if any signings will be made or even needed in January?

Personally with Waggy now firing on all cylinders, Nuge back and Vardy still a bit out of sorts I think a striker probably will be coming in? Although once Kingy gets back a bit of form he'll chip in with a few goals(I do like King - honestly but just wish he'd get stuck in more). Beckford has hardly pulled up many trees at Udders so can't see them signing him so he'll probably stay on loan for the rest of the season and leave for 500k in the summer.

Rest of the side think we are pretty well covered as St.ledger will be back soon and wellens/Danns available and match fit will cover other places.

    A striker and a middielder.

Chris Wood and Liam Trotter would be my ideal two signings.

people like trotter would cost like £4m now - its just not worth it.

I think we're fine - maybe a defensive cover but thats it.

Central midfielder. Someone who can break up play and make a pass.

The kind of player we could have brought on yesterday when Derby had us on the ropes.

I wouldn't say we were desperate in any position to be honest. The tendency is to look at our attack but I think a striker coming in depends on what happens with Beckford. Basically, we get rid and replace, or get him back here - I'd prefer the former. I think if we can get a bargain for any position, bring them in. We have options for most positions but this is mainly because we have a versatile group of player rather than a big squad. We could bring in a (reserve) keeper to a striker and every position in between, but only if it's a bargain. As Pearson says, the right deal for Leicester. We don't need to break the bank for anyone.

But is our squad big enough for a long, arduous promotion campaign?

We're an injury away in a key area from a crisis.

Well we can look at loans then.

Like I said above, I'm all for getting in more players if they're value for money.

Just like we did with Wes Morgan

If Dans does well whilst on loan at Bristol City he might get another chance here which would be like a new signing

    Yes.

The other clubs challenging at the top of the league will be signing players in January.

You can have McShane if you want, you could do with a class player like him. If you are lucky, we might even throw in Devitt!

Play him upfront and your new striker in defence

That's alright Charles. We have the best defender in the league in Wes Morgan. :emoticon-0116-evilg
