Many football writers are of the opinion that we need to buy another left back in January to sustain the challenge for top four finish. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...eft-back-takes-another-victim-in-jose-enrique http://metro.co.uk/2013/11/26/why-l...left-back-in-january-transfer-window-4202313/ Your opinion.
Wouldn't be totally against this, he's impressed me every time I've seen him play. Dunno if the chavs would let him leave though.
We've got more pressing concerns than Left back! Flanno played well there, Johnson can cover well, Cissokho might regain the form he has showed in the past, Agger can cope, Sakho has played there, even Robinson too! Try midfield. That's what we need for a sustained challenge for the top four.
Rumour has it we had a bid accepted in July but Bertrand wanted to challenge Cole for his spot, Cole then got injured and Maureen didn't play him.
I think we do and looking the article with the young left backs we have had over the years Insua who Athletico Madrid payed £10mil for should have been kept and if he was he would be our left back now, no question. Hodgson must have been an Everton fan, he got rid of Insua and Kačaniklić who have both gone on to be good players, I think we need to start giving young players more time to develop. We seem too hasty to get rid.
Going to be a top player and is playing well, but we don't need more potential and young, inexperienced players. He'd also cost a bomb and Everton would never sell. We need a player to play well immediately.
Really? Decent under Rafa for half a season until he knackered him out. Even then wasn't the worst player on the pitch bar one or two matches. Oh and he was 20. Might as well get rid of Sterling too. Insua also looked better than Flanno ever has and that isn't a dig at him.
Apart from one goal against Arsenal I never saw much to convince me he was any good or would become good enough. I'm not saying I though he was totally useless but certainly one of quite a few average players we needed to get rid of at the time.
I didn't think he was good enough at the time but he was still young. He was thrown in too early and perhaps he had to move for his career anyway. I'd definitely would have kept Insua over buying Konchesky!!!
no, we have jose and cissokho, with anyone of flanno Johnson and Robinson to cover if needed, midfield is needed badly and should be top priority imo
