Do we need another CB?

I'd say we do.

Campbell hopefully will not be given a new contract so we need cover there but someone to provide competition to Colo/Taylor/Willo

 

I haven't seen much of him but would Cathcart be worth a cheeky 1 mil bid? Or would we have a chance of getting upson? or even Rodger Johnson?

 

Scott Dann is the only player who is good enough to do a job without splashing the cash. Possibly Upson?

I would love someone better than Tayor/Wilow as there isn't much between them at the minute but Tayls has looked promising since coming back, if he continues to improve we might just need more cover and use the money for other positions. But with his injury record im not sure if he will continue this recent progression.

 

I don't think so, we will likely have Taylor and Colo as our pairing next season, with Willo providing cover (who I still think can do a decent job at the top level) with Kadar/Tavernier providing cover in more extreme circumstances like if our 2 CBs decide to get suspensions in a match again
In an ideal world I would take someone like Dann, but there is a much greater need for players elsewhere, so our money must be spent on that

Mint player but he would cost at least 12 mil and we need to be spending most the money on at least 2 strikers, wing cover and full back cover. I wish we could afford him.

In an ideal world I would say yes lets get another CB because Willo has gone off as the season went along and i'm still not convinced that Saylor will be consistently good enough. I would like to see Kadar brought into the frame more as well because I think he has great potential. So for me that leaves us short of another really decent CB to partner Colo at the moment.

But on the other hand I think we have other priorities so I would want a RW, 2 Strikers, RB and backup or replacement LB (depending on whether Enrique leaves or not) to be purchased first. If our budget stretches to 6 players then yes sign one, but he has to be better than Willo or Saylor otherwise don't bother.
