Its been mooted that we are interested in signing the left back from Donnie is he any good and how cheap will we get him for strikes me we are now scraping the barrel with no disrespect to our Friend but if we want to get out of this league any time soon should we not be looking at more attractive signings not Donnie cast offs by the way we will not get Cork he will cost MONEY KB is against buying players the freebie loan rout appeals to him and as he as found to his cost short term contracts have a bad habit off kicking you in the face Beckford @ johnson are prime examples Gradel and Schmichel have only i year left surely the old owl will get wise to this !
Since it's a TalkSport rumour, I'd take it with a massive pinch of salt. I've no idea whether Friend's any good so I won't proclaim him as ****e but the fact he plays for Donny doesn't suggest great things. Then again, the fact Scott Parker played for West Ham didn't suggest great things and he's hardly a bad player. TalkSport say Palace and Burnley are after Friend too, maybe he's not total ****e. As for the contracts, I'm certain that Schmeichel and his agent won't have wanted any more than two years. In my opinion, Kasper's always seen Leeds as a stepping stone to 'greater' things but Gradel should definitely have been a three-and-a-half year contract rather than two-and-a-half. Let's hope he stays.
Spanish white do you know Simon Peters a fanatical Leeds FAN LIVES in Cap DELIA with the lovely Wendy Peters scorer for the cricket club I myself lived in Club Marina UNTIL 2004WHEN WE MOVED BACK TO LEEDS
Been echoed by the YEP now: http://www.yorkshireeveningpost.co....ter_rovers_defender_on_whites_radar_1_3452253 Says he can also play at centreback and left midfield and has a year left with Donny.
He only came on the scene for them a year ago. Big strong left back that can fill in as CB as well. Sounds good to me, everyone starts somewhere
