Would be nice to have two weeks in 2nd I must admit. I'd actually be well happy if Sunderland got a point.
Well he went off injured but unclear why. He's done his ankle or knee... strapped down on a stretcher job...
Sunderland are playing well but very defensively. This is the problem against bigger teams. Other teams go to their home ground with the focus on soaking up the pressure, but it shackles the attack and means that they must resist a full 90 mins from a top class side who will only get more determined. A great approach for a draw though, and on a good day, perhaps even a sneaky win.
Shame that like. Nothing worse than defending well for 45 mins and losing out just before the break. Same thing just happened to us today.
Difference is chappaz that you have that bit of luck to get you the rub of the green. Wolves. Stoke. arsenal and everton will agree to that. We only appear to have luck like todays atm. Although as I type this we've got a penalty.. Or not as he's over-ruled his decision. Told you there was no luck for us.
STOKE!? Was one of the most one sided games this season, Tim Krul didn't have a genuine save to make. Although yes the others may have been somewhat fortuitous but we've been good value for all results on the performance of the defence.
Blimey, Liverpool on my accy.. and if Sunderland get a result against the red Mancs then we stay 2nd... I think this is the first time I've ever wanted both Liverpool and Sunderland to score
I don't see how we were lucky against Arsenal or Stoke. Yeah we should've drawn with Wolves and Everton should've had a penalty, but **** me, it makes up for all the bad luck we had last season!
You make you're own luck and both North East side's are where the currently deserve to be. Will most likely be a different picture at the end of the season mind. AH... Class signature.
Wtf are you going on about? All I said was that we conceded a goal just before half time, and so did you guys. There's no competition, it's just a fact. And Stoke was not a lucky game. That's a load of BS.
