Your brother had the intelligence to realise he'd lost it and retired gracefully. If you're miraculously reading this (Hi Phil) then please retire. You're not good enough anymore, not even as a squad player.

Decent guy, great leader, master pointer. Past it footballer.

You're holding us back Nev!

He looked like a 36 year old full back yesterday, we need Tony H or Coleman back pronto & I agree Neville should hang his boots up in May.

He's never been good enough at FB!

Really? He got 50 caps for England at LB & he'd point you in the direction of his medal collection to refute that.

He's been a good fullback throughout his career, it's CM where he's not been good enough at times.

his legs have gone and his touch is terrible, he needs to call it a day

hes just awful and detrimental to the way we play

He was also more hated than Beckham was after France 98! I rated him as a DM and versitility is always good but I don't think he is or was a great FB.

If it wasn't for the fact he could play several positions adequately then he wouldn't have been a united player for so long.

He's never been anything special football ability wise but he does motivate the team well. however that's not enough anymore as his age is catching up with him.

Outside of football the lad raises a lot of money for Alder Hey and the Manchester Children's Hospital so what he now lacks on the pitch he makes up for in his charity work.<ok>

So leave him alone.<grr>

He's a good egg, but his legs have gone, so he can be a full time charity worker for me like.
