If reports in today's Sun newspaper (yes I know) are to be believed then the FA have been in talks with Brendan Rogers with regards to the possibility of him replacing Woy.

Brendan Rogers FFS, the guy who has had even less success than Woy totally unbelievable.

The FA spoke to him months ago about the position if it became available - the Sun knew about it for months but have decided to wait until now to release the story (was reading about it today but can;t remember where)

Basically it's a non-story that the Sun have thrown up to sensationalise using the timing.

I read Klinsmann somewhere else. Slack day for sports journalists I reckon.

There's a real chance Big Sam will be a wanted man for England. Let's hope England want somebody like Rogers. Big Sam may not light up the world with entertaining football, but he will deliver stability to us when we need it most. Losing him could be a disaster, so get in! If the FA want Rogers I say.

Any name but Sam's and I don't give a toss who manages England

Harry redknapp will get the job most likely, with Phil neville as number two, then he will be manager.

No chance of Sam getting the England job with his provincial accent.

    Its either

    (a) not posh enough, or

    (b) not foreign enough.

He's the best man for us!!!

And England are welcome to make an approach. In say, 6-7 years time.

BSA is the stand out candidate so its a good job for us he's at a place not recognised by the football Authorities - but I've a feelin they will not be able to ignore us next year under BSA tutelage :emoticon-0169-dance:emoticon-0170-ninja:emoticon-0171-star:

Thats a bit too logical for the English FA -
Stuart Pearce - good successful (u21) international experience with the bonus of a focused passion for his country

They've done it before, with Steve McClaren succeeding Sven Goran Erikssen.

Agreed, but **** knows what happened at Valencia, silly job to take as your first position.

He wouldn't be my choice mind, given the options I'd most certainly get another foreigner in next.

Me too. Klinnsman could be a good punt, as Davie said above.

Loads of international experience, understands the PL mentality....

German though, I know I said foreigner but that's different... I don't think I'd like that very much.

Pellegrini would be my first choice, if Roy was sacked today.

I really like the guy, he's a very clever, tactically astute manager, treated like a piece of **** by that piece of **** club.

Nah, the Ay-Rabs have treated all of their managers like **** since they walked in, it's just their style. Pep will probably be different, the sun shines out of his arse.

Another plus for Klinsmann . . . . . He knows how to win a penalty shoot out.
