We've heard all the reasons why we are seemingly doing nothing to address our symptoms but come on please. Bristol City have never been a very cozy, warm and fuzzy communicative sort of team and sometimes what you don't say is more informative than what you actually say. Steve Cotterill has come out and said that he doesn't like the rules up where we belong and has virtually told all and sundry that we are struggling to come with the entry fees needed to solidify this season and to ensure continued membership next year. I'm not quite sure whether those comments were meant to inspire us or give us more concern because by my reckoning we can't compete with the bigger boys at any level you want to mention. All the platitudes in the world can't change the fact that we weren't prepared in any fashion for the challenge ahead and to make matters worse we have stuck our head above the parapet, only to have it shattered when we waved the multi million pound note to the greedy bottom feeders. However we I hope we are not going to give up without a fight and perhaps SC has aces up his sleeve he can take to the lottery kiosk to find us some winners. Sadly there is no heart involved in my sport anymore and having over 60 years of following Bristol City behind me I still find us wandering in the desert like lost lambs following the wrong gods home. Baaah.
Must be just me then! Wake me up if anything happens please and I will get back to my sleep, or is it coma.
