Most Chelsea matchgoing fans very much pro Toni. I wondered whether other fans share this View? Would you have Toni at United or Arsenal, say?
I doubt anyone would want a weak minded manager. He could learn a thing or 2 about being cool by observing Poch Mourinho has absolutely destroyed Conte with the mind games....he's a broken man
From what I have seen, both online and in RL, most rival fans quite liked him, (except Spurs fans, because Conte won something once, and we all know what Spurs fans think of people who win ****!) But Jose did do him up like a kipper, and he has slowly started to unravel this season. Our club seems to break managers.
This is not about Spurs...this is about your manager and his weak mind. Anyway, I'm glad we agree, Jose has ruined Conte.
He looks like a bloke who can’t wait for the call from Roman so he can **** off back to Italy. The Chelsea managerial merry go round will roll again either this week or next imo.
Once Mourinho targeted him after the drubbing we were handed at SB last season, his days were numbered. Props to him for winning the league last season but he isolated their best player and then sold him, and bought in a load of **** to make the club a laughing stock. The straw that broke the camels back was Lukaku, rumour has it Conte smashed his hotel room up on hearing the news he'd be signing for United. Would I want him here? Absolutely not. Players like Drinkwater were discarded for a very good reason.
Conte hasn't bought in anyone. All the players he wanted, he was told to forget about, and the board found him new, cheaper alternatives. He has zero power when it comes to signings.
Conte wanted Lukaku, he got morata (despite rumours to the contrary, I was wrong) He wanted Nainggolan, he got Bakayoko He wanted Sandro, he got Palmieri. He wanted Bonnucci, he got David Luiz He wanted Dzeko, he got Giroud **** knows who wanted Drinkwater and Barkley, or why. But that also wasnt Conte
The first three words of that post could see you expelled from the Chelsea board. Of course everyone except a few in denial knew that.
No point in denying anything at this stage. Our board have let him down from day one. He hasn't been perfect, like I have said many times, the way he handled Costa was a ****ing disgrace, and the way he rattled David Luiz' cage for no reason was baffling. Plus his selections of late have made no sense, but I think by this point he couldn't give a ****, and he just wants the pay off.
**** knows. That would need to be agreed with him upon his sacking. He'll probably end up with at least a couple of million, he has 18 months left on his contract.
The way Chelsea have gone about their recruitment the last couple of windows when Conte gets sacked it will be time for the glorious return of Avram Grant
