They started so slowly tonight. If they had started a higher tempo, I think we were there for the taking.

City, Dortmund at home, United away, Chelsea at home (twice); they seem scared to play their normal game in big games

Yes they do, more down to the manager than the players. If he doesn't inspire confidence, who will????

I think of it more as being overcautious which smacks of Arsene Wenger's tactics in big matches, i.e. play first not to lose and than try to get something, rather than taking the game to the opposition and risk losing. Our habit of trying to grow into matches rather than starting strongly has always annoyed me, and it's nothing new either....

You finished stronger and had a couple of chances. If you had started like that we would not have kept you out for 90 mins.

If we'd had a striker who could shoot straight we might have even won it.

Mourinho on #afc complaints over Mikel tackle and pen claim: "They like to cry. That's tradition and I was saying that to the 4th official."

good shout EC. had they showed any real intent - that would have been a better match.

hell even AVB did better at the lane against us than Arsene managed today. That is disappointing.

    Arsenal 2nd
    Chelsea 4th

And with your ass having to go to City before New Years, don't be surprised to be in 5th or lower at the halfway point <ok>

Think Jose got his tactics sorted better than Wenger. Neither went for the win. Arsenals normal game could have run us raggard, but they opted for a safer slower pace, which played right into Joses' hands.
In the end, we probably just shaded it, Arsenal got going way too late, 1 point each is generous to both.

We go to City on Feb 3, and unlike Arsenal we do not have a fear of big games

I think last night and Old Trafford would suggest otherwise.

11 trophies, since you last won one, would suggest otherwise

Last night showed everybody that nothing has changed at Arsenal other than spending a lot of money on not very good players. Predict a 4th or 5th place for you at best. <ok>

Your last trophy with Benitez is proof that Mourinho isn't scared of the big games?

Jose has delivered in big games for a decade.

Your opinion though, mate. You are entitled to it

That was when he had a £1bn team at the Peak of their powers. Now he doesn't
