I thought on Saturday for the Charlton game if you wanted a free child ticket you had to buy a adult ticket however if you are a pass holder you can go in with the voucher from the daily mail and claim one for free. So if you have a kid under 16 or grandchild its a great opportunity yo take them for free for the game. I don't think it was made clear regarding pass holders but now you know
Johnbo, thanks for that, your information is very clear. I agree that the previous information was unclear, and I assumed that this offer was not available to pass holders
Yes the voucher is in the Hull Daily Mail each night until its runs out, i went today took my pass and voucher and got a free ticket for the East stand, when there i asked if the offer is going well and the answer was not really. I must admit though that the young man in the ticket office said i could not do it unless i bought a ticket at which point a couple of other ticket office workers said you can which i knew because i had rang before i set off and they told me i could. I think the biggest problem is that some of the pass holders who would take up the offer didn't realise they could plus the fact one of the ticket office workers didn't think you could dosn't help
Isn't there a 'friend for a fiver' deal on too... the problem with these deals though, is that there isn't any unreserved seating! ...My missus' best friend's boyfriend is originally from Sri Lanka and has never been to a football match before. His girlfriend's family are massive rugby fans and took him to a few games but he didn't like it, so I asked him if he'd like to come with me to a City match. He was really interested in seeing a football match, so I rang the ticket office to get him a ticket... nearest he could be to me was about 10 rows away at the other side of the block.
Yes that's true Dazzar but you can move your seat to where there are two seats together, You can even do this over the phone which is what i have had to do. For this one match i have moved from E6 to E9
The only difference is it costs an extra £2 to move seats. EDIT - Sorry, if you want to sit in another stand it costs extra.
it doesn't cost anything to move seats i have done it a few times and my mate is always doing it, the only time it costs more is if you move to a different stand if it costs more to go in there, by that i mean if you had a season ticket in the south stand but wanted to move to the East or West then the tickets are more expensive in there so you would pay the extra. However moving the other way costs nothing because you already have a more expensive seat and if you stay in the same stand then it costs nothing to move
