He's complete 360 dip in form is quite sad, yes, sad. During last season there were many points where he was looking like a top class quality CB, but then all of a sudden his form took a massive dip during the season, which dragged into this. It's not like he's been a complete disaster such as Squilachi, Djoure has still put in some good performances, but as many will agree, he's just not reliable enough and doesn't install the needed confidence you'd want. Now having said that, I think for a 4th CB back up, he's top quality, I think only Manu can rival us in terms of having a much better 4th back up CB in Evans or Smalling.

If Djoure could pick his game up, it will be top quality for Arsenal, and the really good thing about Djoure is that his heart's in Arsenal, he's one of those players who wants to be here, and he's practically grown up with us, he's been with us since 2005 so if he can only reach the heights, it will be amazing for Arsenal.

We can only hope, we can only hope.

He's had his days....both good and bad but premiership football requires full concentration. One mistake may more likely than not be punished which is Unfortunatley what djorou tends to do once a match at least. I would honestly like him to succeed but just can't see himi sustaining his form consistently. He might have a few stories next season but that alone will not convince me. Above all he lacks consistency. But as I said I would love to be proved wrong

    Dawson/Gallas > Djourou.

Then we have Nelsen, Bassong and Caulker too.

I think the biggest strike against him is that he was involved in the three worst games of the season for us. Man Utd, Sunderland and Inter, every time playing at CB, so the 'he was playing out of position' excuse doesn't work. He diidn't play the first half against Inter so he only gets half a mark against for that.

If you accept that those games were just bad efforts by the whole team, then the rest of his games, that he played at CB, were not bad at all. He managed to keep 5 clean cheets and was involved at CB in the good run just after the Spurs victory.

I wouldn't be happy if he was one of our first choice CBs but behind Vermaelen, Kos and Metersaker, he is an outstanding 4th choice. I don't think he and Kos play well together. He seems to play better with Vermaelen.

And I don't agree that he is worse than Gallas and Dawson. He is worse than Gallas was at his peak, but right now I'd pick him every day of the week over Gallas. Dawson has never impressed me, and I'm not sure he impresses Harry. He certainly doesn't play him if he has any other choice.

the problem is most of the time this season he's played at RB. except for the start, when he has played at CB he has been pretty solid, especially when alongside koscielny. considering he also signed a new 4 year deal, i expect him to stay as 4th (or 5th if vertonghen comes) choice CB

Seriously, do'nt have time to read an article where even the title (and name of the player) is spelt wrong.

Even if English is'nt your first language there's been NO effort put in here.

    Djoure?

    Is he a new signing?

    Or do you mean Djourou?
