Australia, subject of a long running Border Force series is pretty well advertised as a fort knox of a place to get into. Do it right and you are OK many people in the decades running programme have tried it on, known the rules, ticked the wrong boxes in an attempt to slip through the net ... [ no pun! ]

Djokovic " got others to do his form filling " .. bit like the smugglers / drug runners who get stopped .. "did you pack your case yourself sir"? uum no, my mate did it, I aint got a clue what they put in there! OPENS CASE ...
oh my gosh sir 2 kgs of tobacco, forbidden meats and a heavily wrapped package of white powder ... . No excuse really ...
NON VAXER has publically stated he is anti vaxer ... yet so called was positive and for 2 or 3 days continued life as normal... if i was AUSSIE .gov I would do test to see if he had had covid.. conveinient to say you have!

anti vaxer? how does he manage to get to umpteen different countries in the world that state you must have had a XXXXX? jab ... so cant really be a anti needle person! I wonder how many pain killing jabs he has had!

SO should he be deported for trying to misle, blame entourage for errors, not be respecting the isolation rules and believing he is better than most respectful citizens ... for me answer is YES

I must admit that I've not taken much notice of this story, as I'm not really into tennis, but from the little I HAVE read it seems that he lied on his paperwork and got caught out.
He's also been found to have lied on his paperwork in Spain earlier, which is currently being investigated by the Spanish authorities.
Paying others to do his paperwork is no excuse - it's HIS name on the documentation and he/they should have been familiar with the rules - especially at this time during a pandemic where the rules are stricter than before.
He's broken the rules and should be punished/deported. Otherwise it renders the paperwork/checks meaningless and they might as well just let anyone in.

All Non-vaxxed and Anti-vaxxers will have this problem and rightly so - they will have to jump through hoops in order to travel, instead of simply showing the vaccination certificate - and if they get the hoops wrong then they will be in trouble.

No sympathy from me (but as I stated I haven't read the whole story)

They will be used to encourage people to take the vaccine, once the the level of uptake is sufficient they will them only be used to get it back up if it starts to wane.

Along with most law abiding Australians I think he should be deported.
The Australian government are shooting themselves in the foot citing unrest etc. leaving themselves open to a judge's interpretation of words.

Ffs their rules are no jab no entry.
    End of.
    Send the inflated ego home.

Send him home as he broke the rules in a country that has it's borders locked tight. No excuses as he knowingly tried to bypass the law and has hopefully lost. Tell him to stick his visa where the sun don't shine. :emoticon-0128-hi:
