Looks like he is unstoppable, but my guess is Nadal will beat him the next two times as he is still the better clay and grass court player. So it looks unlikely he will beat Fed's high run let alone the all time record of 46 undefeated matches. But then, who knows eh ? I would be happy to see him do it as he really deserves it after the mental strength he has shown so far.
It can't last forever, he's got to lose eventually. He is weakest on clay, so I think he will lose at Rome, or maybe Roland Garros.
Well, Murray is confident of ending that streak today: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/tennis/13398638.stm I doubt he will though. He might have had a chance a while back when Djokovic slipped down to 4th, but now Djokovic is in another league and a guy like Murray is at a disadvantage from both a mental and physical perspective. If anyone can end Novak's streak, it will be Rafa, but even then it will be difficult. To quote Rafa: "He beat me in Indian Wells, he beat me in Miami, he beat me in Madrid."
That was a good match by both players. Didn't expect Murray to come back in the second set, and then almost win the game. A good performance by both players. Nadal might be a bit more optimistic about his chances of ending of that winning streak.
Jose, I am extremely surprised Djokovic beat Nadal twice on clay now in straight sets at that. The guy is playing awesome and I'm keen to see now just how far he can take it. On a positive side for Murray fans, he played really well against Nadal and Djokovic in the last two tournaments. I'm still very saddened about Fed, but we all knew it had to happen at some point. I'm sure he will do well in the odd tournaments (like last years cup) but the consistency has dropped and he will slide down. Hope he still carries on and not hang up his boots for a while though.
