Fom Vital Ipswich "" DJ Campbell fired his fifth goal in eight games for Ipswich but admits the arrival of Harry Redknapp at QPR may end his exile. "Harry as done a lot in the game," said the 31-year-old Londoner in the Daily Star. "He is a massive name who only just missed out on the England job so he will do very well at QPR." Campbell`s loan with struggling Ipswich ends in January but after being frozen out by Mark Hughes knows a return is now a possibility. He said: "We will have to wait and see what happens in January. I'd love to see Deadly Dudley come back in January, and if it's true that we're not looking to spend big I see no reason why he couldn't come straight back in the squad and be a really important player for us. I know it's only the Championship not the Prem, but in only 8 appearences DJ has scored more leagues goals than Zamora anc Cisse combined, who together have made 22 league appearances! He's also got heart and a passion for the club, which is something we're sorely missing right now.
100% agree, TIMK. Seems his time at Ipswich is doing wonders for his confidence and re-sharpening his game.
Unfortunately MH preferred big names and prima donnas. Now that Harry is in and clearly he wants players that graft and work, maybe we'll see more of him.
Yep, I'd bring him back: with Zamora and Johnson injured, and Cisse not currently scoring, we need more options up front. He scored a few at Blackpool in the EPL so why not for us? Norwich and Swansea have shown that, for some (many?) players, it's not necessarily such a big step up between the NPC and the EPL so he's laying down his credentials rather well, I think.
