Not sure about this one http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1389835/Sunderland-want-DJ-Campbell.html
It's a ****ing hard one mate. Would i ever think 'god i wish we signed DJ Campbell'...would i ****. He's had a great season though, and he IS different. 750k? Could be a 'shot to nothing' signing, another Bramble. Or could be a pathetic move. Consider me on the fence, leaning towards the 'no ta' side.
Sunderland are weighing up a move for Blackpool striker DJ Campbell, who is understood to have a relegation clause in his contract releasing him for around ã750,000 Can see him at sol, but certainly won't be first choice, better than being linked with heskey.....
How the hell can some of you be not too fussed about Jay Bothroyd, yet say 'no' to a striker who has scored 13 goals in this EPL season with Blackpool
We need a big target man. Noble, Lynch etc should be able to make the grade and with Sess getting into his stride....I dont think we need to go crazy buying 3 strikers - then again DJ Campbell for 750k wouldnt be a big risk so why not? Gyan, Noble, Lynch, big ****er, Campbell (when back) and DJ Campbell Defence, once again, needs the most investment: Buy Onouha and Hutton (Onouha can play CB as well) for RB + replace Mensah and get rid of Ferdinand (too inconsistent imo) then invest 10m in our physiotherapy room / staff
it.s mentioned on sky sports, but cost is 1.25 million. didn't realise bruce signed him before for brum..
