Heard a vicious rumour that Andy King could go to Everton with Yak coming to us as part of the deal

Probably bullshit like the other rumours that fly around, still be a bad piece of business in my eyes

Well...it could be said that Andy King has been replaced.

We are very heavy in the midfield department and Neil Danns looks like Sven choice of attacking midfielder. It would be a crying shame to see our talent develop somewhere else but personally I would go along with Sven's judgement.

As fans we have been wrong about the potential of a player before.

We dont need to sell and Andy is settled and happy to be part of the Svenolution, so i cant see it happening. It would only make sense if AK was needed as a bargaining chip to bring Moyes to the negotiating table. That isnt the case becasue Moyes needs to free up the wage bill after all the Yak costs a pretty penny!

Where did you hear this? It looks like Yak won't be coming regardless and has been told he's in Everton's plans for the coming season and they aren't looking to sell. Also, Everton are keen to integrate Ross Barkley into their side this season so it's a strange rumour.

    Cant see it.

King is worth more then the Yak and Everton have no money thats why they want to clear some players out. King wouldnt get in at Everton if everyone is fit anyway with Cahill, Arteta, Rodwell, Fellaini, Osman, Bilyaletdinov all ahead of him.

No big players will leave us now only deadwood and squad players

I think the Yak deal is dead. However, this rumour could have some truth in it if we are interested in Victor Anichebe, which is rumoured to be true. I have to be honest in saying that I dont quite get the love in with King. Yes, he scores and if we were a mid table side then I wouldnt let go of him but he gets bullied out of physical games and for me was a passenger for large parts of the latter half of the season. If Kingy is happy to play second fiddle then great but if he wants regular full match action I dont think it will work.

With Neil Danns coming in we have another attacking midfielder waiting to take Kingy's shirt. And at the minute it doesnt look like King has a shirt, so he needs to get his head down and when he gets a chance take it. I didnt go against Cov but Stringer said King looks physically bigger and he wanted the ball more and he ran forward with it. Thats not something he was doing last season. From the Madrid game it looked like King has gained an extra yard of pace

King wont leave and I still expect him to play 30+ games and get into double figures

Makes a change having a player linked to being sold I guess.

    Are you mad?

I would want at least 3M and Yak for King

I dont want Yak now but only if Maynard doesnt sign, i want a mobile front line this season not someone who isnt going to move. We already have Howard.

Nugent and Waghorn will run their socks off every game while Yak wont break into a sweat

    The funny thing is.

Providing we can get Johnson back to full fitness, he wouldn't get into the teams best 11.

Fernandes, Wellens and Johnson are better with abe and Danns as back up.

We don't have a striker so why not?

Obviously not a straight swap. I rate King at 5m so Yak and 3m would be good.

If Everton do suggest this we should say we rate Yak at 2M and King around 5-6M and that way they will either bugger off or make a stupid offer.

Because we are rich and can therefore buy a better striker without losing our best young talent in the last 10 years.
