I hope MM send out the fringe players tomorrow. This is a distraction we can do without, we have bigger fish to fry So I hope you will forgive me if I say I hope we go out of the cup tomorrow.
No, me and 5,499 other town fans don't share your opinion, I hope we go with a strong side and go through, by the sounds of it MM is going to go for it, this game is not adding to our schedule, the Xmas fixtures have been pretty kind to us, we have had a decent break between each game.....COYBs.
I understand and respect your opinion hoppers I am only thinking of injury possibilities not so much fixture congestion I just don't want anything to affect our team and after Derby we have some relatively easy games compared to the last month
Best chance for several seasons to finally leave this Division (in the right direction!).Let's not get distracted.
Completely understand where you're coming from and, if I hadn't just splunked £100+ for tickets & trains, plus entertaining & feeding my daughter for her first ever match, I'd probably agree with you! But I always want to win anyway, every time, regardless. Not sure MM would agree though - remember that Wolves team a few years back. Also, a few Saints fans with short memories are giving it all that on their forum (not the Not606 one) and seem to have got a bit giddy, albeit understandably. Would be nice to a) try our boys at the higher level, b) cup-tie Mings and c) remind the overexcited Saints fans, just them, mind, that they're not Manchester City just yet...
Saintsweb I'm assuming? Most of them are a bunch of er....morons to put it politely. That's why I'm on Not606. Anyway, safe trip for anyone heading down tomorrow, it's a complete sell out which is so refreshing for a 3rd round cup tie at a PL Stadium. Hope your daughter doesn't get too upset after we stick the 5th goal away . Realistically, I see a 2-1 or 3-1 Saints win. You'll give us a test but we've been strong at home so I'm backing Saints (obviously!). Hope you all enjoy your day out and hope to see you in the PL next season.
Cheers, Tom. Yeah, we have a forum like that, too I think it'll be the PL reserves beating the Champ reserves 3-2, but hope springs eternal!
Mick is using it to get a few fringe players up to speed in case we need them in the league....and in the process showing that our squad is better than some give us credit for.
Hmmm..two more bookings, potentially a nasty injury to Murphy, let's hope we don't regret what happens in the replay.
