Of course im as dissapointed as everyone else. i was up at 7 till 11 watching non stop hoping for a striker to come in.The board could of done alot more to get a striker in and its a disgrace that they havent with the time they have had knowing we needed one. However the transfer window is closed we can all moan about how pissed off we are about not getting a few more players in but at the end of the day we did get some absolute gems in like santon and cabaye and in my opinion when Ba gets his first goal i do think he will be a real threat for us he just needs to find the form which he had at westham. All we can do now is get behind the team and hope for the best. Atleast we didnt do a panic buy and buy a striker for a ridiculous for him to turn out as a flop. I just hope they get one in the next window. also can anyone tell me when if the loan window is still open because we could get someone like diouf from man u if it is
Loan window closed till new years day. Macheda was prepared to come on loan but couldn't be bothered to make a last minute loan deal might have cost Mike some money.
oh alright i always thought that the loan window closed a week after the transfer window thanks for clearing that up for me (Y). and if it comes across that im sticking up for ashley in the article i would just like to clear it up that im not before i get my head bitten off
The board probably felt that your current merry go round of strikers will get some goals. Best had a couple on the weekend, but probably won't score next game, so it'll be someone elses turn then.
Cabaye scored 15 goals the season before last - hope he can do that again. I do think Ba will get 15 or so this season wants he finds his feet
The thing is although not the greatest the merry go round did get 18(6 each) goals between them and since only Shola had more game time than Carroll that should give us enough to finish mid-europa area.
