Just watched the Sky Sports interview with Neil Warnock and feel nothing but sympathy for him and all fellow QPR fans! It is a disgrace that after such turbulent years following our relegation in 96, that once we regain our top flight position, we do the absolute least in terms of player signings, organisation, ticket prices and contracts to try and maintain the status of a Premier league club!
I dont know the ins and outs of what goes on down at QPR but to work so hard and then possibly throw it all away is quite puzzling? Is it the 'promotion money' followed by the 'parachute payments' that is keeping the self admitted ' uninterested Bernie' and 'Playboy Flavio' at the helm?
I wrote in a previous article a few weeks ago that i would love to see QPR survive on a small budget and believe that we could considering the bottom 7 or so teams from last seasons Premiership, but to have a potential £1.25 million budget when those bottom teams are strengthening leaves us in a rather precarious position! My main concerns are the lack of pacey players across the back four, especially at full back. In my opinion i think you get slightly more time on the ball in the Premiership compared to the Championship, so players like Faurlin and Tarabbt (if he stays) will really excell. This season will either turn out to be really shrewd business or a complete disaster, please let it be the former!

Pretty much exactly what I was going to say! It is puzzling and I agree that it would appear that the owners are using the promotion money and the possibly almost eventual parachute payments to continue to fund the debt etc. I can't see it changing unless a "fan" buys the club or someone who cares more about the club than Flav & Bern (Mittalls?) takes control.
At present, it's all so frustrating. If they cared about the club, they would spend more to ensure survival, simple as that!
Wish I'd won that 161million on Euro lottery, I'd buy them out!!

Weird thing is, didn't we bid £2.5m then £3m for Danny Graham? Thats more than our whole budget so Warnock says.... Weird.

Hi Swords Hoopster, Right again! You must know by now that bakes is a spy for the two rich leaders?? I have been repeating my self over and again that we must spend to stay up! I also agree with Rangercol, he has got in one! It can not be any clearer then what he has stated!" There is no point going on about the two leaders, they got the rains and that is it. The best thing that can happen to our club is to go down, get rid, no they will run as so as they have a return on their money. That is when we can start again, even in DIV: 3 or what ever it is called? At least we will have our club back with someone who loves the club, like all our FANS! Bye ye all! and one more bottle of rum! Ha,! Ha! them that dies are the lucky ones!! Jim lad!!

Agreed. Bakes is a good lad but like Ninj, Kiwi etc. his passion can get the better of his reason.

You can call me negative, gloom & doom monger, or whatever you like. I have broad shoulders, & can take the flak!

But the ways things are at present, it would appear Ladies & Gentlemen, that we are totally bollocksed!
