It has now been several days since we signed a player from Pompey, and I for one feel this is just not acceptable. I demand that a player, coach, tea lady or kitman is brought to Leeds United and forced to sign for us, otherwise I will withdraw my tea money from ER.
good logic there, sign a load of players who got relegated from this division and presumably expect promotion, leeds fans never fail to amuse me
From a team that were not getting paid, had a points deduction and did not have a clue what was going on, from a phsychological view this would not affect them at all would it !, so it makes them Lg 1 standard automatically doesnt it ! Shouldnt your badge be red now !!
Doesn't make sense to me and to other Leeds fans, somehow appears to make sense to others. Warnock needs to think about what he is doing, as so far it's rather ****.
To be fair, they have more chance of being in the Premiership next season, along with Swansea, than at present we have. I would suggest we will struggle to move away from mid table up till Warnock is removed from his position in February 2013.
As it stands I don't think many Leeds fans are 'expecting' promotion... We always aim high and want to achieve that, it's called ambition. That hasn't been shared by the board recently but it's definitely what the fans have. We have a good solid base to improve from and I genuinely think we are in a stronger position than last year, albeit with less of an attacking threat. And in regards to the comment about taking players from a relegated squad, as long as we take the best of the bunch I would be happy. The whole team and their situation got Pompey relegated, not the few players which we have picked up.
