Now the scousers have actually got something to whine on about, they are the victims this time!! http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/news/...ameful-truth-liverpools-policy-123720872.html
Is that a picture of you looking smug because your club is throwing it's own supporters out of their homes???
No mate, it's a reaction to you believing the one sided story in your link. The situation has been going on since the 70's, most people accepted LFC's offer to buy their properties back then but some expressed their right to refuse as have some in the latter years, your OP isn't purely based on the story though is it? "whine", "victims"? PS, some of those residents/tennants are Evertonian's, does that make it better or worse in your aloof opinion.
Conn added: "Their resentment is compounded by the fact that they are being forced to move so that Liverpool, and their relatively new US owner, Fenway Sports Group, can make more money."Howard Macpherson, 52, was quoted in the piece: "Anfield was a good area, all the houses occupied, nothing like it is today," says Macpherson, who runs a garage, Aintree Motors. "The area started to decline in the early 1990s with the city's economic problems. But Liverpool football club accelerated the decline, by leaving good houses empty and boarded up. It wasn't a natural decline; it was engineered." Just a bit of the article as I guess you haven't bothered to read it!
