You cannot let the West Ham fans get away with "can we stab you every week", gas chamber whistling, "I've got a foreskin haven't you?", "Forza Lazio", chanting Di Canio's name and the "Hitler's gonna gas 'em again" chant. I've probably forgot one or two as well. They were totally out of control today and there were even some police in the crowd who didn't seem to do anything. Of course we bring this all on ourselves by calling ourselves Yid Army Time for the FA to show UEFA how it's done. Mass bannings, big fine to WHU for failing to control their fans and at least one game should have to be played behind closed doors(or without them at least) and either points deductions or further games behind closed doors suspended incase they do anything like this again in the next 2 years. I hope the ****s involved all get caught but they might as well have marched all their fans straight to a cell after the game because it seeemed like most of them were involved in it.
I agree 100%. Used to like west ham but the lack of,class within their manger seems to have rubbed off on their fans. First the wenger chants but that pales in insignificance to this. They actually explicitly stated what they would like to do. Shameful.
Thing is they've always done it. They stopped doing it at games so much a few years back but it's nothing new, since they stopped doing the anti-semitic chanting they've mocked every death in Defoe's, which has unfortunately been a lot. They've always had a large section of disgraceful fans which has often gone unchecked. Then again there's of chanting from most fans in the past that's gone unpunished.
The idiots chanted, "You should have died with your brother", to Defoe a few years ago. That's disgusting however you look at it, but the twats had Anthony Edgar on their bench at the time, who's Defoe's cousin. Celebrating the death of one of your own squad's family.
The BBC are still choosing not to report it despite every other part of the media acknowledging the horrid chants. Worse than useless.
I honestly don't get all this anti semitic nonsense. I'm a Muslim originally from Pakistan but to judge an entire ethnic community based on the actions of a minority government is just,plain silly and spiteful. In the end majority of all ethnic communities tend to be good people whilst every religion teaches positive virtuous stuff. I have been 'around the block' more times than I care to remember and have experienced many a nauseating experience at away games during my time, but today's behaviour from the West Ham yobs was totally unpardonable. I have nothing other than complete disgust for what they were chanting this afternoon. That bunch of yobs were a disgrace today.
Disgraceful chants from the West Ham fans but I expect nothing else from them anymore. We play them at Upton Park on Saturday. I'm going to the game and I'll be prepared for a very hostile atmosphere like it always is when West Ham play Chelsea and Tottenham. I wonder what chants they will conjure up for us? Where were you sat? If I remember right you're in South somewhere, aren't you? I was in the South Upper and I could hear the Lazio/Di Canio songs from early in the game as well as the "running round Tottenham" in the second half and lots of "shhhing"/hissing depending how much credit you give them as well as some sort of response to can we play you every week, which I found out what it was after. Found out about the Hitler chanting afterwards too but whilst a lot of their chanting got shouted down you knew everytime they opened their gobs it was something vile.
The 'viva Lazio' chants were starting before the kick off, and how anyone failed to hear the "always look out for Eyeties carrying knives" song must be stone deaf.
