Was thinking about this the other day - doesn't have to be Prem years, or even a modern game, but what was the best individual display by a Swans player you've seen? For my own money, the one that leaps out to me was Nathan Dyer against Forest in the first leg away. Down to ten men he was the best full back and the best winger on the pitch. Any thoughts?
I watched that game in a Pub in Stavanger with a few Noggy Forest fans, needless to say they left that game in silence and knew the writing was on the wall. It was a total football performance and the platform for promotion. I often think that the first game gave the players the belief to think they could win and go up. Not sure the best ive seen. There was a game against the red birds many years ago in the cup/ maybe league , a midweek game with snow on the ground if i remember correct, think we won 4-0 or 4-1 but we were just magic and the north bank was bouncing. it just stuck with me because i was late getting there and took a chance of parking the car close and legging it to the stadium only t hear the roar of the crowd as i missed the first goal !! It was just magical for some stupid reason, i think its because everything went wrong that day in my personal life but it was soon forgotten around 9,30 ish ! .. Some may remember the game better than me though.
He didn't fancy it on a cold Friday night , walked on had a chat , turned round and off to the bath ,funny as f**k
Norway: I've been reading your posts for a while now and you've sparked some curiosity from my part. It seems that you've followed Swans for a very long time, which makes me wonder why a Norwegian bloke like yourself chose to follow precisely Swans back in the days? I remember you saying that underdogs are big in Norway. But there are a lot of underdogs to chose from, even in the PL.
