it was a good discussion, Tony Cottee, Paul Walsh, Kevin Kilbane and alan whathisface Agreed it could be a genius move by short to act so quickly, they are all excited by his appointment and cant wait to see what happens, all think we will stay up, however he needs to adapt to managing premiership footballers as they may not tollerate some of his behaviour. All positive stuff really
Mate, you don't think they sacked MON Saturday night and then decided to look for another manager, Di Canio might not stop you going down, but reckon he get shot of your deadwood
No i think it was sorted during the international break, the pundits quite rightly said there is no point in hanging around like what normally happens
Agreed mate think this was an ongoing thing for at least 2 maybe 3 weeks. You don't sack one manager then have his replacement there the next day.
Like they said mate, could turn out to be a genius move, looking forward to his first press conference
Absolutely gutted if we do go down but if he gets rid of the deadwood he'll be the first manager in a long time to have done it, hense our league position. We've carrid far too much deadwood for too long.
No wonder all the good people leave this forum, it descends into nothing but drivel, crude racist jokes, and more politics than a football fan wants to talk about
