This season is becoming so hard to predict. One minute you think we are almost there and the next it is back to square one with a huge question mark hanging over everything.

Last season on quite a few occasions I thought we had blown it and we were gone. However, it turned out that we were safe with 2 games to spare. The other thing is that we finished on 46 points if memory serves which is the precise total we have right now. This time 46 is not looking to be enough by a long chalk and even 50 might not prove to be the magic number with the way things are panning out. Normally you would say that is the finishing line but we win one, the other results look pretty good and then we lose one and the thing is right back where it started from with other results going in the opposite direction. Dagenham looked done and dusted at one stage but if you look at the points then they are far from safe.

Which way will it go? How many points do we need? Will this be the season when 50 doesn't cut it for once in history?

I just can't see the finishing post in sight even if we get one more win and a draw. It's bloody agony.

Was a bad loss with other teams picking up points...remains to be seen but our game in hand is now crucial once more!

On paper York was our easiest game..........Rochdale should be our next easiest match.........the rest are all very loseable.

If they play like they did on Monday......we'll have to get the maps out to look-up new exotic destinations for next season.

With Hourihane out for two games our so called "best" player (not my words) things could get even worse in mid-field........and with Banton not being involved on Monday at all to the extent of him being taken off not long after half-time.....also Reid as well........all we can hope for is gaining points with 0-0 results.....it aint looking too good.

Typical Argyle isn't it? Beating Fleetwood, Southend and Exeter, losing to York and failing to beat Accrington and Dagenham & Redbridge.

    Predictable? Certainly not.

What do you think is the magic number this season though? As said it is normal to think in terms of 50 but the bottom club could quite easily reach that out of the games remaining. My feeling is 52 at the moment which would mean at least 2 wins out of the remaining. Of course the wheels could just as easily come off for all of the bottom clubs and nobody get any more points. I just think it's bizaar this time around.

51 with our goal difference, but not sure my heart would take that on the last day....win the next game and maybe we can for go the pain for a change..PLEASE. Do not know why bit I have had a bad feeling for Tur....Quay hope they hold in there, but not at our expense obviously, if they do go out will be a hard road back. Considering they were a promotion candidate for a lot before the season kicked off bit of a surprise.
