Transfer window has now closed and I have to say Im a little dissapointed in our activity. The likes of Lukaku and Mata seem like decent buys not sure what to make of the liverpool dude just yet. I was hoping to see maybe Mouthino or Modric (especially as it went on for so long) someone whose going to add a bit of flair like Neymar or even Tevez! But Im glad we didnt loose Sturridge :)

Shame we didnt loose the likes of Kalou etc :( would have thought all the panic buys arsenal did today we could've given him to them lol

Hopefully when the international duties are over and we get back to the league we'll play alot better than the last 3 games!

Still there is January to look forward to I suppose

Makes two of us mate, really expected at least Modric and Pereira to sign, all summer we've wasted all this time on modric when we could have made that sort of offer for sneidjer or nasri and for sure would have got one of them, also pereira don't see why we didnt just pay the extra 5million his worth it, was pissed off lille didn't make a bid for kalou as we've now gotta put up with him untill at least janury, disappointed we got rid of benayoun in my opinion he never had a chance and the only time he did he looked good all the time. O well it's a transition season anyway so hopefully at the end of this season we have a big clear out and bring in neymar, pereira, vwd and a world class midfielder. I personally wouldn't care if we finished 3rd and done nothing in any competition because it might just finally be the wake-up call that malouda, kalou, anelka should all be gone, hopefully we concentrate on just using this season to give the youngsters as much chance as possible as the legends that are lampard, terry, drogba can't go on forever and luiz, josh and lukaku are all v.capable of fulfilling there places in the future, glad kakutas gone to bolton because he will get game-time there, and hopefully mata and meireles are the key to opening up torres goal scoring form. Anyway onwards and upwards, KTBFFH

Modric stats last season: 3 goals, 3 assists. You reckon that's worth 40 million? <laugh> You just got Meireles (compare his stats) for a bargain and I'm pretty pissed off to be honest, but at least he's not in our starting 11 like Torres was, which was more annoying. The only reason he's cheaper than rat face is that he's getting on a bit now and Modric has been so over-hyped it's unreal, he's worh 20/25 mil tops. As for Meireles, play him in an advanced role (not deep like woy did) and he will bang in the goals and assists, unfortunately.

Good mate, I firmly believe Raul will be a key addition to us. Yossi was never fit and can't expect whether he will be fit.
Like many fans opinion, I am glad we didn't buy into Luka's hype created by 'arry & co.
He is a decent player but no way worth more than 25 mil.

Gael should be next Jack, should Burnley's Judas trust him and give him chances.

Now the disappointment part - ofcourse shattered that kalou is still here. Someone said Gunners would be looking in - But why would they need inferior Bendtner - yeah Nik is way better than Salmon and that says a lot !!
