Neil Lennon handed six match ban for shouting at an official.

Just because we forced one of their bigots out on his ear they think they can get their own back by banning the handsome Lurgan Lion.

Anything to hand their friends in Govan an advantage.

    ****s.

The ****s at the SFA and Govan are running scared of Lennon.

He's got them ****ting themselves at the thought of his majestic Celtic team rampaging all over Alzheimer's XI in his final season.

Lennon dug his own grave on this one. He's not the first won't be the last.

John Hughes got a similar ban for behaving the same way.

Levein even took the SFA to court over his bans and fines.

Jim Jefferies got a 2-match ban for acting and speaking out at Celtic Park.

Lennon's ban was increased because he appealed, which is the nature of the beast. Instead of the usual tin-foil hat paranoia we should see it as a chance for a young manager to learn a good lesson early in his career.

Your last point about a lesson fir a young manager is spot on. It's a good learning exercise although that **** doesn't deserve to learn from it <laugh>

Levein was anger personified when he first became Hearts manager and spent half his time in the stands. I personally think it helped him when he became Dundee United manager because he'd learned how to deal with the arrogant suits at the SFA by that point. He's obviously still a maddie but has curbed the touchline anger a bit.

Celtic and Rangers fans forget that Lennon hasn't even been a manager for a full campaign of SPL games yet, only 27 league games as a manager. He's obviously a passionate guy and a bit of an arsehole but the best thing about having a young manager is that generally they only get better the longer they are in the game as long as they keep the hunger and desire.

I'd far rather have Lennon ranting on the touchline than Mowbray sitting there humpty faced and silent. It lets the team on the pitch know they'd better get their act together.

But John Hughes never appealed either of those previous bans, he was given a 6-match ban for repeat offenses.

Jim Jefferies said it himself when he was charged after the Celtic game that he'd only appeal if his sentence was more than two games because if you appeal a two game ban and it is rejected then the SFA take a dim view of not accepting you were wrong and can double or triple said ban.

Lennon's antics on the touchline were silly as were his comments about already having a story made-up and he should have accepted the 2 game ban and put it down to experience.

There's nothing to be gained from constantly butting heads with the SFA. They've been institutionally inept for over 50 years now. I personally don't see them as a corrupt organisation. There are individuals with a biased agenda, no doubt, just look at Jim Farry. But the paranoia and persecution complex displayed by certain sections of the Celtic support is embarrassing to me as a fellow Celtic fan.

    Aye its shocking eh?

There's a policeman that lives near my house, for no other reason apart from feeling the world was against me I decided to scream, snarl and point my finger to his face, almost knocking him out with my smelly breath. I carried this on for several weeks and got my boss to go on record to say this policeman and many others within their force are out to get me, a conspiracy that has been happening for 50 years.

During this time there was another policeman nearby who caught a drug dealer and rightly arrested him after at first thinking he was just a normal citizen. I was beeling at this and whipped up a frenzy so that he got sacked and so did his boss.

I got pulled up for hassling the policeman near my house, the hearing got put off again, again and again using snow as the excuse. Once it happened I got told not to go near that policeman again for 6 weeks.

Believe me, I am ****ing raging at this and so are all my pals, its a ****ing conspiracy from these orange, mason, english polis <grr> <steam> <grr> <steam>

Aye, I think so. I remember reading John Hughes would miss the semi-final at Hampden when he was Hibs manager if they'd got past Ross County. Presume it hasn't changed since then

Think he misses: Aberdeen, Hearts, Aberdeen, Aberdeen, Dundee United, Rangers
