    I still believe the ESL will come back and replace the champions league.

    But it can’t be open and shut. It has to be competitive. If it was I am all for it.

    There's a competition like that already though. It's called the Champions League.

    Only thing they wanted ESL for was to guarantee their own involvement and shut the door on the rest.

    Makes sense why Liverpool and Man Utd owners have decided to sell. Less power means more risk to income.
