It's been mooted on these pages often enough. Its probably the biggest thing missing that lets us down, why we keep lurching from playing style to playing style and why we don't see enough youngsters coming through the ranks. I've mentioned this guy before. I think he would be an ideal candidate and positively influence the club top to bottom. Agreed but you need the manager's buy in. Some would see it as another layer of uber manager and would lessen the impact of their management scope, tactics, signings, player management etc. Where Bulut would stand on this I don't know? Ideally you need the DoF in place before a new manager (or head coach in that situation) is appointed. That way they should sing from the same hymn sheet.
I don't disagree on timing Blue, but at some point we need to bite the Bulut (pun intended). The culture of the club should outlive any manager. Its unlikely that a Fergusson or Wenger will be witnessed any time soon, though they had the capacity to develop the culture. We need to start building from the bottom up. The cultural stuff that was introduced to Wales, and I know club sides are different from national sides, went a long way to the ensuring the whole was greater than the sum of its parts.
