Well I for one hope that SC plays a more direct style of football, I was bored to death watching us play keep ball across our back four.
I for one was over the moon when SOD went, and lets be honest the decision to part company with him wasn`t taken after the decent display against Leyton Orient but after the shocking display against Sheffield United, the worst team in the division and the worst display I`ve witnessed in over 50 years of watching City.
It was so bad we were getting excited if we won a throw in.
If we get men in the box, get the ball in the box, then in this league we will get chances.
Come on Cotts get us off our seats again.

The Sheff U game was awful. Quite what the purpose of passing the ball harmlessly along the back 4 was, is still beyond me. I don't think that I have ever been so bored at a City match. I travelled 90 miles in each direction to watch that and vowed not to come back if that continued

To be fair we were playing hoof ball under SOD with a bit of passing around the back 4. SOD had to have been the worst manager ive seen down the gate and he played the ****test type of football. I don't care if SC makes us play hoofball so long as we win!

Gutted I have to go for a meal tomorrow at the Vale of Glamorgan, bet they don't play it on their screens there. On a plus side last time I was there for a meal when we was on TV we beat WBA in our first year in the Championship.

I like the idea of a team being able to pass a ball around, and I think it would work extremely well in the Championship with the quality of players up there. However, like it or not, we are closer to non-league football than Champions League football. It's very rare to see a lower league team passing the ball around because the skill just isn't there. If the players were capable of playing the kind of football SOD wanted to see we'd be undefeated, and teams wouldn't have an answer for us. However, this is League 1, and we need to play by whatever means necessary to win.

Redordead, Vale of Glamorgan? there's posh innit? Cardiff with Knobs on! and ender does that mean I won't be able to watch Arsenal style football down at the gate for a while? oh b*******!!
I tend to agree that at present any wins will do. Mind you if my memory serves me correctly (which isn't very often these days) we did play an attractive style of football under Terry Cooper.

I also have to apologise to all and sundry, whilst being a very minor celebrity on a local radio station, in Cardiff, this morning I attempted to talk about the Top Rank in the 60s and the DJ who was Tony Prince (to you old ones he was to go on and become "your Royal Ruler on Radio Luxembourg") and I said Frankie Prince. I know I mentioned an old Rovers player and to compound matters I actually apologised on the air and mentioned the Gas!!!!!! What was I doing? Sorry again!!! Mind you I'm probably going to go on their Blues show and explain that I have every right to play the Blues as I support Bristol City, Bristol Rugby, England Cricket, England football and live in Wales that surely has top qualify.

In this division you need to be physically strong.

Pretty football is fine in the championship.

Personally I'd be happy for us to win ugly for a few games and get ourselves up the table, especially with Notts County winning yesterday

It needs to be a mixture with the emphasis on what suits the players you have

Redexile does it make me even posher if I tell you, the old lady actually lives on the Vale of Glamorgan? She has the apartment above Craig Noone next door to Cardiff City's and the Blues training ground. The daughter spits on their training ground when ever she walks past it <laugh>

No hoofball in Coterill's first game.

Played a bit of football today - all be it against non-league opponents
