    The new Declan John?

Would anyone be in the slightest surprised if we didn’t see him get a game this side of Christmas? Cardiff fans seem to rate him which can only be a positive with them being a league above us.

Think PP is the only football manager in history though who hates playing his own signings <laugh>

Yeah I thought it strange he wasn’t on the bench last night
    Edit
Looks like he was carrying a knock of some sort
Sunderland are hopeful that defensive-duo Jordan Willis and Dion Sanderson will both be fit for their crunch clash with Pompey on Saturday

He's not even been here a full week and he's carrying a knock FFS.

Do all clubs have this number of fans willing to write players off so quickly?

He’s not got a knock pp said he just needed a bit more time with the team as he’s only just got here.

Fair enough - I probably misread something. The point still stands, as you say he needs a bit of time with the squad as he's only been here 5 days, two of which were match days.

It's taken a whole season for the players to be comfortable in this system ...

... it would be daft to just throw someone in because Cardiff fans like him.

It’s a strange one cos Onien seems to be able to play anywhere and not let us down, like last night. But I’d prefer an experienced CH there in the long run.
