Lazy one tonight. Some scampi oot the freezer. Dunno what to have with it.

Last night was spicy chicken and noodles. It was ****in excellent.

Started using Birdseye chillies in ma cooking. Hot stuff. Looked them up and they're on a par with Scotch Bonnets <yikes>

Organic wholewheat pasta with diced ham, boiled eggs, avocado and grated cheese. Very tasty.

Birds eye chilis as hot as Scotch Bonnets my arse! - I know it's wiki, but it's still relevant. If I had more time, I'd check other sites too but you're the opposite from right on this one

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bird's_eye_chili (2 out of 5 for heat)

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scotch_bonnet_(pepper) (5 out of 5 for heat)

Birds eye chilis are for weans.

Canny mind the site, but it did a comparison of chillies. It rated them just below scotch bonnets. Canny be arsed lookin for it.

I was asked by a mutual friend to point this out to you - it wasn't my own work.

    I'd have done better research.

When you said Bird's Eye chillies, at first I thought the Birds Eye brand had branched out into pickled vegetables.
