    Guys,

I have a bit of a connundrum...... I was wondering if anyone on here can advice on the best way forward..... Here goes...

I have a season ticket, (well not legally mine, as in not in my name,) but I have paid for and been using for the past 3-4 seasons). It's for an old mate, who could not afford to run it any longer (economic climate), so I decided to pay for it and use the ticket, rather than let it go back to the pool and be re-allocated.

Now AFC have now decided to offer me my own ticket, only saw the letter yesterday, (letter was sent to an old address, as that was where I lived 8-9yrs ago when I put my name on the list) dated June, giving me 5days to redeem my ticket.....

I have already paid for 1 ticket, not knowing my number was going to be up.....now I have been offered one in my name, and do not want to pass this opportunity, as don't want to wait another 10years! At the same time, I don't want to shell out on another season ticket, when I already have 1..... :(

Which is the better seat? I'd be tempted to go for my own one if the seat is as good/almost as good as then it's my very own to do with as I will. Your friend would probably be able to find someone to buy the other off you I'm sure and, failing that, would you be able to suck it up for a season and try and flog it individually each game?

PS I don't want it. Apparently as I am getting married I am now no longer allowed nice things.

God knows why I am offering advice to a goon but hey ho in the spirit of a summer truce here goes:
Buy the ST in your own name.
Do Arsenal have a buy back scheme? If so sell the tickets from your mates ticket back to the club so you can make back a big chunk of your money.

Buy the one in your name, sell the other one. Go on Twitter and ask a few popular bloggers to send out a tweet asking if any one is interested.

Don't you know someone that would buy your ticket off you on a match by match basis ?

buy it, get it, it's worth it. when the glory days come back, people will be clamouring to become ST holders.

@arsenal87, I hope to buy it by hook or by crook. I have put word out if anyone is interested in just paying for it for a year. Sadly I might have to go with everyones suggesting that I buy it and sell it game by game, just wondering if I can defer for a year or if there is a limit on the number of games you can sell back to Arsenal.

    £

The letter says "Please note that the available seating is limited. The majority of available seating is situated behind the goal areas in the UPPER Tier, priced at £1423 (or 1,173 for the back ten rows of this area)".

However I am more inclined to go for the cheaper option (1723), especially as I already have paid through the back door for one, above Wenger's dugout!
