Think Pardew deserves alot of credit for building onto the foundations that Hughton built, since he's arrived there's been a level of consistency instilled into the squad and we are now difficult to beat!

Only 1 loss in the last 8 league games now, and looking back at them 8 fixtures they were all tough games except probably West Ham at home, but the return of 13 points from them is fantastic and with most of the hard fixtures behind us I can see us pushing on for the rest of the season now and challenging for 6th/7th.

It could be a hell of a lot more points if the players didn't let in those two injury time equalisers, so I think that deserves even more credit.

I think he is doing a good job.... and against good teams.... and we have had a lot of injuries.... and we lost Carrol..... so lets be chuffing honest!!!!

HES DOING A BANG TIDY JOB at present.

Friggin' hell really? When he came they was sprouting out all the "not any better than Hughton" stuff, and now there saying he could be England boss?

When was the last time we were this solid (apart from last season)? Hopefully it will be a good foundation and with 5 winnable games coming up hopefully it can continue. Possible top 10 finish would be amazing, would be a lot easier to attract players too <ok>

Yeah, I think that if we finish top 10 and prove to Barton, Enrique and Tiote that we've got ambition and spend the money wisely then it should ensure that they all sign new contracts. The best thing about us being hard to beat is the fact that unlike the Blackburns Stokes and Birminghams of the world we can actually get the ball on the deck and play some decent football.
