Diego can't be here atm so he's asked me to create this thread and post the following on his behalf.

This is the one where we let loose the dogs of war and unleash hell.

I expect McTominay to absolutely dominate the 11 weasels of City.

    Team selection:

    -----------------------Onana
    Dalot---------Varane--------Maguire------Reggaeman
    -----------Casemiro----------Amrabat
    Antony-------------Eriksen--------------Mount
    ----------------------Hojlund

    Prediction: United 4 City 0

Goals from - Hojlund, Amrabat, Maguire, Onana

I would consider swapping Mount and Antony over to see if Antony could be an actual winger with his good foot.

To think we can actually name a functional eleven without Rashford and Bruno is something to behold.

The question is whether Utd will stay disciplined and cool headed after conceding the first goal or crumble into chaotic indiscipline and panic.

it would have been difficult with a settled Utd side playing with confidence. This lot needs some sort of a miracle :(

Good looking team but I don't know who regaeman is tbf. Hopefully, he's decent.

    Bar that, all good.

I suspect we might sneak a marginally narrow defeat.

The fans and a good atmosphere is also needed.

What I've noticed about our performances is it would help if they did something for the fans to get behind them, but our lack of any creativity sucks the life out of everyone.

    Ah, right!

Yes, actual left back. I wish I was as hopeful as you Rashford would be dropped.

I'd be absolutely amazed if Fernandes was. Not that he shouldn't be.

Think it might be a bit more than that, the apparent lack of passion/pride or even fight is the killer tor me. If we lose a game 0-6 i would be upset but if i felt we gave it all and were just not good enough then **** happens and on to the next game.

Rashford usually turns up for the derby but Bruno can go missing (often)
Bruno should never be thought of as a captain, when we are struggling his is the first head to start shaking and go down. He has no fight in him and no drive to lead others.

If we play anything like we did against Arsenal, then I’ll be a contrarian and go for a win at home for the following reasons:

1/ City have demonstrated that they are not unbeatable.
2/ We are starting to get goals from other players even when our frontline just can’t get it together.
3/ The central defenders of Maguire and Varane may prove to be a good combination after all. City will be a great test for them. If they pass the test, then maybe it will usher restart of the partnership.

Overall, I’m choosing to believe that this godawful period of low inspiration will have to end with a bang.

The big issue that we have to overcome today is that we're ****e. Solve that and we're in with a shout, but I suspect another drumming is coming our way.

Well, they certainly tried really, really, really hard to find a reason to gift City a goal there.

Not once was that ridiculous excuse for a referee shown that in real time.

We still have the unerring knack of turning attack into defence in the space of two pedestrian passes.

    Odd substitutions.

Why take Hojlund off and leave Rashford on? And not put Antony on, which would have been the more obvious substitution.

Rashford must have some pictures of ten Hag ****ing his mum or something.
