Obviously sneijder would be perfect and I've seen nasri and modric's names banded about as well all great replacements. But have any of you considered Diego? Wolfsburgs creative midfielder used to be a key(ish) member of the brazil squad and still only 26. His career has just stalled. I can remeber him at Werder Bremen and along with a certain Mr. Ozil were the heart of that team and arguably, Diego's suspension was the reason they lost the Uefa Cup final in 2009. Didn't he then go to Juve now he's at Wolfsburg? He has the talent but like many, in hindsight, poor transfers probably meant he won't fullfil his talent.
The guy's attitude stinks. Got left out and refused to be a sub. Also, kicked off with team mates and took a penalty that he was not designated to take and missed it! Hope this guy stays the **** away from the premiership.
