Reports in Germany claim Diego of Werder Bremen has been sacked.

He has been told to find a new club by his manager. For free, I reckon he'd be a steal.

He'd be better than Adam and he is World Class. At 26 years old, he would be at the peak of his career and I'm sure King Kenny can get the best out of him

    Thoughts?

Sim, Diego has that creative spark that we need and if he is being let go, we should pounce for him as that would be a much cheaper option than some of the other names we want being bandied out. Also, if we can get him confident and back to his best, we will have quite an awesome player on our hands. At WB he was immense and unfortunetly it didn't work for him at Juve, this does not mean he is bad footballer, things happen, it didn't work out.

I was lucky enough to actually see him in action with Robinho when I was in Brazil years back and was blown away by his control, vision, and being a smaller player he can be quite powerful ( when not trying to draw the fouls that Brazilins do so well).

I say do it KK, just do it.

Think I would rather a team player than someone that refuses to be on the bench.ok he's a good player but the last thing we need is another el sulko bringing the team morale down.

Apparently he is a nightmare to work with, ego bigger than Ibrahimovic and Ronaldo put together. Stormed out of team meetings, didn't turn up for training and took penalties even when ordered not to (and missed them) whilst at Wolfsburg this year. Very talented obviously but an even bigger risk if you were to buy him. I'l just add this video in for the hell of it though.

Oh well, if he's on a free - we buy him on a year's contract. If he behaves himself, we extend the contract if not then we let him go for free.

A good creative player. For free? He must be a knightmare, is it worth disrupting the harmony?
