S oD that is ...on a list of 10 he would have been 8th to 10th....H E Y H O ...I AM A REALIST and certainly not prone to saying I told you so, hypocritical or unfair..

At the "moment" S oD is the best thing that has happened to this club since Keef kept us up! I thought Derek was possibly the man before and after his appointment until about 8 games in when everything started to go pear shaped...form injuries and the like...water under the bridge now SoD IS OUR MANAGER and as I have said many times before I get behind the manager WHO EVER THE CLUB decides to appoint.

Its great how for a few years, you publish things..."stats" as they often called...often ridiculed, but also often later "hypocritically" manipulated! nuff said...we post what we post because we want to post it...I disagree with quite a few things on here but never knock them....even have a quiet chuckle at some of the comments like "on drugs" or are you "DOC ETC ETC"...........

We now have 48 points, and still not safe..( OS gets my drift.. ) and I have always "forcasted" possible points totals and itterated how the other teams must perform to give us a chance..." hypocritically" there are those that now say the same thing, again its a free forum..........

48 points..thats why I say the team that loses the most are the most likely to go down, we are doing our bit at the moment, but the others are not helping us! I stated over a month ago we could be seeing the last of Bolton and Birmingham due to the fixtures they had, indeed even stated they were candidates for the top 6! that was pooooh pooohed! As long as Bolton beat those teams on their run in that can do us harm I have no problem with them beating us 1-0 if we are to lose 1 or 2 games in the next 9.........

WE STILL HAVE SERIOUS PROBLEMS TO AVOID RELEGATIOn, you will note in all our previous 3 seasons I have been adamant we would not be relegated from about Feb onwards due to the fixture clashes etc
This season is different, we dont have 2 or 3 fixtures each week involving teams in the bottom 8, indeed it is half as many or less as last season..thats why it is harder and tighter. In theory we are bottom as technically Peterboro and Barnsley can be 2 or 5 points above us..indeed barnsley could be 15th should they win their 2 in hand!

Who we play is no relevance, but when we play them it does...we just need to improve on our 48 points...not lose them! :emoticon-0105-wink::emoticon-0105-wink:<cheers> COYR

The good thing we do have in our favour is the opponent's who face the teams with games in hand.

    Peterbourough away to Leeds
Barnsley home to Brighton on Tuesday could see them struggle after getting dicked 5-0 by Man City, and then they play Cardiff for their other game in hand.
Sheffield Wed's is against Millwall who were looking good but are now slipping into the fight only 5 points above us. Good old Woolford working under cover there <ok>

We do have a few 6 pointers one next Sat against Wolves then Sheff Wed's possibly Huddlesfield, Derby and Brum could possibly scare them to be in the positions they are in, but like you said not as many as previous seasons.
The others around us do seem to have more which could work in our favour.

I think we will be safe (fingers and toes crossed) but have this horrible feeling it will be down to the wire against Chalton. So this could possibly be all roads lead to London for us fans.

JGF, you are fixated on trying to predict the outcome of ALL of the fixtures but I would have thought you would have learned by now that this is pretty much impossible in the NPC.

The one thing that I can predict with a pretty fair degree of certainty is that if we beat all of the teams around us that we have left to play, we are pretty much there so just concentrate on US cos you cannot control the rest - it is in OUR hands....

B O L L OX and I usually do not make such statements

WE ALL KNOW IT IS IN OUR HANDS
WE ALL KNOW WE NEED THE RESULTS AROUND US TO GO OUR WAY
WE ALL KNOW WE NEED 2 BETTER RESULTS, THATS 2 LOSSES OF AT LEAST 5 TEAMS ABOVE AND WHATEVER THE GAMES IN HAND OF 23RD AND 24TH PLACED TEAMS ADD TO OUR WOE

    And again in English please....

No, really its quite simple, beat Wolves, Birmingham, Huddersfield, Wednesday and Charlton and that gives us 54 points does it not which I think even you agree is enough, and therefore NOT "BOLLOX" as you put it n'cest pas...?

Now now boys settle down and remember we are all in this together.

I have posted many articles with negative tones and have taken stick for my comments, but have never replied with venom at any time. We all want City to stay in the Championship next season so can we all get back to the right page?
