John Carver used to work under Sir Bobby Robson. Im not sure a lot of fans know this and John is rather keen not to constantly use this fact as a way of connecting with the Geordie Faithful. His interview speaking about his Fat Mike is hillarious, it completely and utterly reafirms what I said on the matchday thread yesterday. JC has no class and no connection with the fans, Despite a high proportion of the fans feeling negative about MA, he continues to stick his head sooo far up the guys ass, its hard to determine where one starts and the other ends. I honestly would rather have kept pardew for the remainder of the season and appointed someone new in the summer then have Carver in charge.
When Pardew instigated the divorce and a lot of fans got what they wanted, him out, the naïve ones actually thought that MA would give them their dream Manager (whoever the **** that is). But, as there is no way to have a go at MA it would seem, its a case of lets take it out on John Carver instead, strangely enough, same as with Pardew. FFS, give the bloke a chance and stop whining on about him. Who knows it might help.
I don't rate Carver but end of the day this was always happening, we've just got to get on with it. Those that keep comparing him to Pardew are wide of the mark, Pardew was far better
