............that Stoke's Crouch and Owen have scored more goals for England between them, than the rest of the squad (the absent Rooney included) put together!

They have an awesome international record between them, whether they would be able to reproduce that form now is another question! Crouch was unfortunate not to make the original England squad for the Euros, but thats teh down side to being a Stoke player and being the end product of Pulis Ball - Andy C being seleceted instead was just an example of the fundemental flaw in our system!

Apparently WOY did call him to and said

"Do you wanna be on stand by", but Crouch said "No No No"! <party>
