I'd like to see the Mayor do it while the normal people of Bristol have the chance to throw stones or **** at him

Not bloody likely. I once drove a loaded bus down there on a very cold and icy morning and that was the scariest thing I have ever done!

The Mayor wants to make a name for himself. and the more inconvenient he can make it for the majority of residents, visitors and businesses alike (bar his own of course) he will, usually at weekends when those of us who do want to go into town face parking restrictions, road closures and silly ideas.

Don't get me wrong, Bristol needs to keep attracting tourists and trade, but this method just puts my back up, and I'm sure I'm not the only one.
