Without doubt that has to rank as the worst 45 minutes under MoN. We have been out fought, out thought and totally out played. Why did we start with only Sess up front and then resort to Stoke style hoof ball. Whatever Mon has to say at half time will have to be exceptional if we are to turn this around. We need 2 up front and play to our strengths.

I love MON but you have to say he's got it wrong today.. I know it's hard to change a team which just beat arsenal 2-0 but west brom are a completely different proposition.
Undone by 2 headers, get the greek in there and shore up the middle of that defence. Midfield need to put their foot on the ball and stop treating it like a bloody hot potato.
Maybe the recent form got to their heads. No doubt that first half and a half time team talk from MON will change that! Please

Sess has played his worst game in a sunderland shirt. TBH not one of our players turned up today. Fully credit to WBA they have played well especially Ridgewell & Odemwinge

I thought w were better in the second half tbf. This may be a blessing in disguise - MON couldnt change the team that beat arsenal, but today has proved that ingeneral 4-5-1 with sess up top doesnt work. 4-4-2 next week and we'll smash the scum! KTF FTM etc!!!
