    A source close to Fratton Park(Fred at the Artillary Arms) says we threw the Brum match in the last few minutes, deliberately, so that the the heat was placed on the Scummers! True or false? I think Fred speaks the truth!...<whistle>

    I'd put in more down to an inability to defend & score to be honest.
    And as for putting pressure on us, I shouldn't worry too much about that, we are more than capably of piling pressure on ourselves each week!

    Must be worrying seeing the blues coming so strongly now from behind!........<whistle>

    Hammers and Brum would be my prediction for the automatics.<whistle>

    SB3, sadly I think you are spot on in terms of predicting Hammers and Brum for the automatics.

    4 months at the top of the Championship and we are in the process of completely stuffing it up!

    The Artillery is my pre-match drinking establishment and has been for many a year. I not know of this 'Fred' ?? ..but I like the cut of his jib. They are definitely getting the jitters down the road. I only went over to their board for a few minutes of 'meaningful discussion' recently and got a shed load of abuse for my sins <laugh> Even Mr Ted was frothing...

    Talking of which, the stadium that you see a few minutes before you get to Fratton coming from Havant, is that US Portsmouth's ground?

    US Portsmouth is also near the railway, on the left as you head from Portsmouth and Southsea station toward Portsmouth harbour station.
